7 days prayers and fasting was declared by PDP over Ihedioha


The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has pronounced a one-week fasting and supplications for the reclamation of the previous legislative leader of the state, Mr Emeka Ihedioha’s command.

In an announcement marked by the gathering’s State Secretary, Nze Ray Emeana, on Saturday, the Imo section declared that the otherworldly exercise would initiate on Sunday, February 9, 2020.

Likewise, party individuals in the state, are advised to wear all dark during the profound exercise.

The announcement peruses to a limited extent: “All ward excos during this fasting period ought to request mass in their nearby houses of worship and gather at LGA party secretariat every day around early afternoon for petitions and breaking of quick.

“The Prayer point is advising God to intercede and reestablish the triumph of Emeka Ihedioha as the properly chosen legislative leader of Imo State.

PDP further asked the Imo individuals to stay devoted as they anticipate judgment on the survey documented by the champ of the governorship political race, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha at the Supreme Court.”

In the interim, Ihedioha on Friday asked the Supreme Court to put aside the January 15 judgment which invalidated his triumph as the champ of the March 9 governorship political race in the state.

Ihedioha and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) documented their application through their legal advisor, Chief Kanu Agabi, SAN, according to Section (6) of the 1999 Constitution as corrected and Section 22 of the Supreme Court Act, 2004.
