Coronavirus: I’m afraid for core Northern States – Dino Melaye

Senator Dino Melaye, the competitor of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the November 16, 2019, Kogi-West senatorial political race, has said that he is apprehensive for the center Northern States of Nigeria as Coronavirus (COVID-19) keeps on spreading the nation over.

He additionally engaged the Governors of the states in the Northern area of Nigeria to be increasingly proactive and implement all conditions expressed by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) in the battle against COVID-19.

Dino expressed this in a tweet on his official Twitter page on Saturday.

As per him, COVID-19 was genuine and had no regard for status, religion, or riches.

“I’m apprehensive for the center Northern States. I bid to the Governors to be increasingly proactive and authorize all conditions expressed by WHO and NCDC.

“COVID-19 is genuine, and it is a world leveler. It has no regard for status, religion or riches. It would be ideal if you how about we not politicize with general wellbeing,” he said.

Then, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) declared that another 114 new instances of COVID-19 were affirmed over the most recent 24 hours, bringing to 1095 the quantity of affirmed cases in the nation as of Friday night.
