The University of Lagos Medical Center has been closed down, after presentation to a patient who later tried positive for COVID-19.
An outpatient was gotten at the emergency clinic on April 20, and from that point, alluded for Coronavirus test, which returned positive five days after the fact.
The administration in an announcement gave on Saturday, clarified that the brief conclusion was for cleaning.
The clinical focus will stay shut for about fourteen days.
“The University of Lagos Management wishes to advise individuals regarding the University people group and the overall population that the UNILAG Medical Center will be briefly shut for 14 days with impact from today, Saturday, April 25, 2020.
“The University has settled on this important choice so as to disinfect the inside after introduction to an outpatient who was seen at the middle on Monday, April 20, 2020 and quickly alluded for COVID-19 testing,” some portion of the announcement read.
