Gov. Obaseki yet to receive letter of resignation from Chief of Staff

The Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, has said he is yet to get any official letter of acquiescence from his Chief of Staff, Taiwo Akerele.

Akerele is accepted to have ventured down “dependent on regulatory and administration grounds”.

In any case, the Governor in an announcement marked by his Special Adviser on Media and Communication Strategy, Crusoe Osagie, demanded there is no official correspondence.

Osagie expressed that the story has just been getting out and about via web-based networking media.

“In the previous not many hours, it rose via web-based networking media that the Chief of Staff, Mr. Taiwo Akerele, has surrendered his meeting with the Edo State Government.

“While the Governor has not gotten any conventional correspondence with this impact, he accepts this is an individual choice of Mr. Akerele.

“In any case, at whatever point the renunciation letter gets to the senator, he would acknowledge it, and he wants Akerele to enjoy all that life has to offer in his future undertakings,” the announcement read.
